We're continuing our 5-part series titled Conversations in Black and White. This is episode 3 of our 5-part series Conversations in Black and White. In this episode, I chat with Colleen, a white woman raising brown children. What does a white woman raised in rural America teach her brown multi-ethnic children about racism? What concerns does she share with black mothers? I'll ask these questions and more on GRIT Podcast-Getting Real; Immersed in Truth.

Since this interview, Colleen and Mo are off to another divine assignment in New York City, where Mo will be a church planting catalyst. Please pray for God’s mercy, grace, and blessing over them.

The evil of racism has pervaded our world for far too long, and God is calling his children to act. As children of light, empowered by God’s life-giving Spirit, we are called to speak against oppression and abuse and to come alongside those who are hurting. Many of us can feel the weight of grief experienced by our friends of color, but we don’t always know how to help or what to do. In this episode, Wholly Loved Ministries team members Jennifer Slattery and Robrenna Redl discuss ways we can unite together to bring healing and affect true and lasting change.
